Today, you will:
- review and identify the 4 quadrants of a coordinate plane
- draw a path through the 4 quadrants in Scratch using the "pen" tool
First, watch the video below to learn how to identify the 4 quadrants.
Next, watch this video to learn how to use the "pen" tool in Scratch.
LAST - What YOU need to do:
- Open a NEW Scratch project, name it "Coordinate Grid 2 - [name]" and save it in your student drive.
- Begin your script like this:
This will ensure that your lines are cleared each time you press the green flag to test your code!
3. Add a "Go To X ( ), Y ( )" block and the "pen down" block. Use (170, -120) as your next coordinate.
4. Add "Go To" and "wait 1 secs" blocks to move the Sprite to the remaining coordinates: (-170, 120), (-170, -120) and (170, 120). Be sure that you've assigned coordinates in that order!
5. Answer the exit ticket below!

"I'm done, now what?"
Here are some challenges:
- Change your scripts so that the Sprite draws an X.
- Make each line a different color.
- Draw a 6-sided shape that enters EXACTLY 3 quadrants.
